What We Believe

The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God and the final authority for all faith and practice. Scripture is to be interpreted according to its literal, grammatical, and historical meaning, as intended by the original authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

The Triune God and Jesus Christ
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is the central figure of all Scripture and the only Savior of sinners through His life, death, and resurrection.

Salvation and the Holy Spirit
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice and are in need of salvation, which is found by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers, enabling them to understand and apply God’s Word.

The Church and Biblical Exposition
We believe that the church is built and matured through the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture. Biblical exposition is the careful explanation and proclamation of the meaning of the text, drawing out the author’s intended message and applying it faithfully to the hearer. True preaching is Word-centered, Christ-exalting, and Spirit-empowered.
